ENERGY

We are learning  about energy. Today we read this story and talked about the 4 things energy does for us.  We think the four things are:

Energy gives us light
Energy heats things up
Energy makes things grow
Energy makes things move

Our Eiffel Tower Challenge

Miss Postma's first day back was full of stories from all her travels. Today we were working in teams of 4 to create the strongest, tallest tower made out of only newspaper and sellotape.

We all did such a great job! Some of us were very creative, making them look like the real thing.

Here are some photos of our creations.

We have been learning about the water cycle

We did an experiment all together to find out how water gets from the ground, to the clouds, then back to the ground again. We used words like Evaporation, Condensation and Precipitation. See if you can share your learning and describe the water cycle to your parents or family tonight.
